Responsibilities
- Drive business development in third party engineering inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) and certification services globally. Develop service portfolio through strategic relationships.
Key Achievements
- Developed OTI into the ONLY Malaysian-based NDT Company to offer conventional NDT X-Ray Crawler, AUT and UAV Drone Services.
- Established approved contractor Azerbaijan for Caspian operations
- Created Third Party JV in Kuwait for pipeline inspection work
- Positioned OTI in the global market, as a provider of quality, safe, competitively priced
- Facilitated OTI’s impressive track record of achievement in third-party engineering inspection, NDT, QA/QC and certification services resulting in a growth of the asset base to over USD$6M.
- Grew OTI’s export market significantly over two-year period with two thirds of all assignments now completed outside Malaysia, home country.
- Created a joint venture with an International UAV Oil and Gas Inspection Services Company over a 2-month period resulting in significant profit generation within 3-months of inception.
- Gained extensive experience working with a wide range of UAVs and an understanding of the complexities and opportunities presented with commercial UAV operations.
